Summary
In the year 1899, the Wild West is dying. The way of life that many have called their own or have lead on for generations is coming to an end. With the century about to turn, the golden age of gunslingers and the lawless lands of America is now tarnished and scrapped, and the dawn of newfound civility and society comes upon the horizon.
Reading through your eyes as a self-determined woman coined "Wolf," you will see how your life as a devoted daughter trying to save your ailing father is about to completely change. After taking upon a major debt from a gang for which you cannot repay, your launderer Leopold Strauss sends his best collector, an outlaw by the name of Arthur Morgan, your way.
As the foothold of Arthur's gang remaining as one of the most notorious and imposing posses fades like a setting sun, you will quickly find yourself amidst a dying way of life, all while you fight for the chance to start another with the man who believes he can never change.

His eyes soften, nearly glistening, and his grip lessens, almost with an intimate tenderness as he places his other hand over yours. “My god…” he sighs. “It’s you…I thought you…” And he tries to pull you into his embrace.
You begin to feel weak, but you dig in your heels, stopping his attempt. “Let me go,” you moan, the words hardly coming out of your mouth.
He seems to be wrestling with his own thoughts, his muddied brow furrowing in confusion. “Kit, it’s me…!” And he quickly lowers his voice, as though he is to tell you something secret. “Arthur…your–”

“So, tell me,” She demands without raising her voice “Why would an outlaw do something he doesn’t want to do? Seems to defeat the purpose.”
Arthur paused, feeling a moment of vulnerability he’d never felt before, before answering honestly
“I ain’t good for much else, ma’am.”
Something softens in those fierce eyes, and Arthur wonders if he even deserves that, as she stacks the bottles and jars she’s holding onto her saddle.
“Whoever told you that’s a fool- living like that’s a waste of a man’s life, really.” She tells him like it’s a matter of fact.
————Where collecting Thomas Downes’ debt ends how it should have, and Arthur Morgan finds himself hoping for things he doesn’t deserve when a young woman challenges everything he’s ever thought about himself.
