Summary
Three years after the formation of Konoha, Senju Hashirama and Uzumaki Mito are finally married, even as rumors swirl that the union has jilted the Hokage’s oldest friend. Madara, the friend in question, couldn’t care less who Hashirama’s shacking up with—and it seems like the Uchiha clan elders may finally be resigning themselves to the fact that she’ll marry when she chooses a worthy partner and not a moment sooner. Unfortunately for all parties, this means they’ve set their sights on her brother’s prospects instead.
Senju Tobirama has always known her marriage would come down to a political arrangement, and Uchiha Izuna is as logical a choice as any. But between lukewarm chemistry with her new betrothed, her brother’s frantic flailing over his wife’s safety after an attempted assassination, and the looming presence of Izuna’s woefully handsome sister who happens to also be Hashirama’s best friend—well, things were simpler when she just had the Senju compound to worry about.
