Miyano’s blush and the small sound of surprise he makes involuntarily confirm Sasaki’s suspicion. While some of the leaps his boyfriend’s thoughts make at times are still a mystery to him, even after over a year of dating, Sasaki likes to think he's gotten pretty good at figuring out when some of Miyano’s ideas have been fueled by the generous amount of BL he consumes.

Summary
“Can I kiss you?”
It’s been a while since Sasaki asked instead of just catching Miyano’s willing lips. But something about being in their own little space, free from all distractions and interferences, makes Sasaki’s heart flutter the same way it did when he first fell in love with Miyano, makes him feel almost shy to just be holding his boyfriend.
Rather than answer, Miyano gently moves Sasaki away from his shoulder, cups Sasaki’s face with his hands before leaning down and kissing him. It’s soft, gentle, similar to the first time they kissed out in the park near Sasaki’s house. The first kiss in their new home, in their new life together.

Head home.”
“No,” Miyano replies almost instantly, the firmness in his voice clashing with the small shaking Sasaki can feel coming from the hand that is now slipping into his and intertwining their fingers. “Come with me.”

Hirano towers over him, for once taller than Sasaki due to him sitting on the floor against the wall of a school building while his manager waves the script angrily in front of him.
“You were supposed to push him down and kiss him! Why the HELL did you tell him he’d have time to answer?!?”
“He is right, Sasaki-senpai,” Miyano, his co-lead, says next to him. His face is still red, but the embarrassment has vanished from it, replaced with a clear look of annoyance in those beautiful eyes. “I’d have appreciated at least a warning before ad-libbing. It’s not like this is your first shoot.”

Summary
Compulsory Heterosexuality, commonly abbreviated as "comphet".
The term first originated in Adrienne Rich's 1980 essay, "Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence". While originally coined as a concept applicable only to lesbian women, critics of Rich's works have expanded the terms across bisexual women, and later on even included men.
When someone feels obligated to date the opposite sex in order to feel normal in society despite a person's true sexual or romantic inclination, that is comphet at its most basic form.
Miyano doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. His closest female friend is now his girlfriend, but it's not any of the magical fuzz it was hyped up to be. She's funny and witty, yet the fantastical bubbles and sparkles from his manga wasn't included.
Then he meets Sasaki.
Should admiration come with skipped heartbeats and intense longing? Why doesn't his feelings for the one Makimura Nao, his middle school girlfriend, feel even halfway as pleasant?
Sasaki Shuumei falls in love for the first time. It's unfortunate that the boy is a seemingly straight fudanshi who has a girlfriend he seems devoted to. It's even more unfortunate that these feelings won't go away.

Summary
“I didn’t expect it to be such a gripping story, really”, Sasaki continues, eyes glued to the screen as if he doesn’t notice the weight shifting beside him, “I’ve only watched two episodes but I’m getting the sense that the BL aspect is really important to the plot. I don’t think it could’ve been set up this way had it not been BL.”
It would be so easy to bend to gravity. It would be easy to tumble bodily into Sasaki because the couch is actually more of a loveseat and the cushions aren’t firm enough to hold their shape when pressed. The trajectory, if Miyano were to follow the call of physics, would angle him rightwards until he falls, shoulder to shoulder against his roommate on a sofa that suddenly seems far too small for two.

Or: Miyano moves in with Sasaki, and the rest follows easily.
OR Or: Wherein falling for your roommate is all too easy, but coming to that realisation is exceptionally hard.
