Luz was a human, and humans were an unfortunate blind spot in his studies, so Hunter had no idea what she needed. And even if he’d known for certain what would help alleviate Luz’s symptoms, he hadn’t even been in the Owl House for a week at this point. He had no idea where to look for supplies, or information for that matter.
All of which led directly to the second problem; Hunter was going to have to ask Eda for help.

It was Ritsu, in the end, who provided the obvious solution.
“If you’re worried, just call him.” His expression dropped slightly, as it always did when Reigen was brought up, but his advice was no less sound than usual. Mob thanked his brother, went upstairs, and selected Reigen’s contact number, relieved to finally have a course of action.
Relieved, that is, until Reigen didn’t pick up.

They allowed themselves only a second to reassure themselves that, yes, they were still alive, before springing back into action, one running for the cockpit, another to man the guns, and the third turning to the fourth, smallest one, who was kneeling on the floor of the ship, gasping for air.

He tightened his grip on the bouquet of red roses in his hand. The thorns pricked his palm through the paper wrapping, but he barely felt it. Robotnik took a deep breath. He could turn back. Leave now and pretend this moment of weakness had never happened.
He had already defied logic by surviving the explosion, already shattered expectations by existing at all. He hadn’t expected to survive. And he certainly hadn’t expected that damn black hedgehog to save him.
Yet, here he was. Alive. And burdened with the consequences of that survival.

He had been on occasion ill as a child, yes, but his mother and Tara had always been there with remedies and kind words and a cool, wet cloth on his forehead. Here, in the middle of nowhere? He had his companions, sure, but he wouldn’t be caught dead asking for a bedtime story or a cup of warm milk.
