it's the 1890s, and Dazai and Chuuya are both sent by their respective families to attend the most prestigious finishing school in all of England to become polite, marriageable women, in order to attract good husbands to further their families power. Instead, they create a fast friendship, quickly disregarding the expectations set upon them in order to fully enjoy their lives together, choosing to ignore the fact that at the end of the year they will be forced to part ways.

The revel is going well, if you ignore the fact that Chuuya, a lord of the Unseelie Court, is drunk. Too drunk, in fact, to stop both his king and the Seelie king from being assassinated. Oh and now both courts are blaming each other and calling for blood. And the only ones that saw the assassin are him and his ex lover. Who he needs to cooperate with if they want to find and kill the culprit and stop an all out war. But up till then, the revel had been going great. Fuck.

Chuuya couldn't stay in Yokohama. He was a risk for everyone involved, a danger on the field until he grounded himself.
It was telling that Boss didn't fight either, only gave Chuuya the two months leave without a second thought and shooed him out the door with a "take care of yourself while you're gone, Chuuya-kun."
Chuuya didn't expect to find his little platonic soulmate on his two month sabbatical.
