Still, it was quite obvious that Nathaniel didn’t want Marc to know anything about his home life. He had even taken to pretending not to hear people when they questioned him about something as small as what his parents did for work. Someone – Kim, maybe – ended up finding out his mother was big in the architecture world, but that was about it, and even then, Nathaniel refused to comment on it and simply gave a passive shrug.
Nathaniel made it clear that that door was meant to remain closed, and Marc, despite his intensifying curiosity, did not dare to open it.
And in fact, he didn’t have to.
Because Nathaniel opened it for him.

Summary
Shadow Moth had akumatized himself. He hadn’t even considered that an option. It could barely even be considered a power upgrade at that. He only gave himself the ability to tear through the miraculous’ protective suit given enough force.
Ladybug had called the entire team when he appeared, crazed and spitting about not being satisfied with just the ladybug and black cat miraculous. He wanted them all.

Summary
We all know that in the episode "The Evillustrator", Ladybug and Chat Noir successfully save Chloe from an early death, defeat the villain, and restore peace all over Paris. That they made sure no one got seriously hurt.
But what if they didn't?
What if one of Evillustrator's spinning blades did hit and kill Chloe? This sets off a chain of events, causing Nathaniel to undergo trauma from the various pieces he knows, becoming the perfect pawn for Hawkmoth to re-akumatize time and time again, and for Marinette to feel like a failure, prompting her to temporarily give up the Ladybug miraculous to someone that she knows can take on Evillustrator once and for all.
Someone who already cares very deeply for Nathaniel Kurtzberg, despite never having spoken to him.
