“Jayce,” Viktor whispers. He places the palm of his cold hand onto Jayce’s nape, and Jayce’s growl cuts off completely, then splits into a low whine.
Jayce doesn’t stiffen into the touch, much more melts and caves beneath the pressure. Viktor doesn’t move his hand, knows it's been hours since Jayce hasn’t gotten any sort of physical contact and has probably been aching for anything tactile to happen between them. Jayce won’t leave, won’t take a break or sleep, but Viktor can amend him this way– at least for a little while.

Kiyoomi swallows, believing everything that’s coming out of Motoya and Miya’s mouth because they just fought a mechanical, magical bull. And won. “Okay…?”
“Your mother was one of those mortal women,” Miya says, “Which makes you a demigod, half human, half god.”
