Summary
Lucifer is lamenting not being able to figure out Alastor's end game at the hotel and gets far too drunk one night. During his blackout, he accidentally casts a truth spell over the entire hotel.
Unfortunately, he can't remember exactly how he phrased it, so the truth spell won't be reversed until he figures it out.Bookmarked by CrimsonCircus

Summary
Angels don’t have hearts.
So the first time Lilith kisses him, bloodied and fire-blackened, and something in his chest spasms painfully amongst the shards of his broken bones, Lucifer assumes that he’s dying.
Alastor’s human heart gives out three feet away from the unmarked grave of a predatory white solicitor, pumping cherry red and molasses-slow into the high tide as summer crickets scream into the oppressive nightly heat. It has remained blessedly silent tucked between his lungs - a much higher prized organ- since his arrival in Hell.
--
Or: Lucifer has a heartbeat; Alastor does not.
