The stranger is bare-chested, and bare footed. He’s wearing only a heavy fur-trimmed red cloak, spattered with rain, and a pair of pants held up with a leather belt slung low on his hips. His toes curl against the wood before he stalks forward.
Izuku swallows, pushing Inko behind him. She peeks over his shoulder on tip-toe, her fingers digging into his bicep.
“He’s not wearing any shoes,” she whispers, as if that’s the oddest thing about him. A noise pushes its way out of Izuku’s throat.

Summary
Inspired by Studio Ghibli's Ponyo.
When Katsuki, a young boy who aims to be a hero, rescues a fish trapped in a jar, his world changes. Now with the self-imposed responsibility of taking care of Deku, he begins to learn what it truly means to be a hero.
When Izuku, a young creature from the sea, is rescued from certain death, he suddenly finds new purpose. Wanting nothing more than to be a human and be with Kacchan, he fights his way to the surface to find out what it means to be happy.
But with an evil villain the likes of which has never been seen having his sights set on Izuku, the two may find that there are some things that they can't overcome. At least, not alone.
