Summary
When Daryl Dixon drunkenly sleeps with sixteen-year-old Beth Greene, he isn’t breaking Georgia law. However, he despises himself for it anyway. And when the girl shows up on his doorstep pregnant, he hates himself even more. But that doesn’t stop him from taking care of her when she tells him she’s scared to return home. Despite his vow to never touch the girl again, she’s still carrying his child and he’s ready to take full responsibility for what he’s done. He just hopes he doesn’t fuck his kid up.
When Beth Greene’s mother and brother die in a car accident, her life falls apart. While staying with her grandmother, she becomes infatuated with a handsome stablehand and makes a decision that changes her life forever. Pregnant and terrified of her family finding out, she runs away and tracks Daryl down in his hometown. Despite desiring a romantic relationship, she agrees to platonically co-parent with him. For a time, things are okay. Then the dead start walking and everything goes to hell. And when they arrive at the quarry, the fact that Beth is having Daryl’s baby causes friction among the group.
(Or: A platonic co-parents to lovers romance that takes years to develop, because Daryl thinks Beth is too young.)

Summary
I began writing Reprise in November 2015, after having a hankering for a good time travel AU and then being unable to find one that fit my niche craving. I wrote chapters 1 through 3 as a casual experiment, a kind of character study of Ben Kenobi.
