Summary

Though he knows better than to entertain the manipulative bastard, Daniel can’t shake the feeling that Armand’s visits are motivated by more than a maker checking in on his fledgling. And, Daniel being Daniel, he means to find out what it is.

Summary
WIP. Starts toward the end of s01e10.
An Izzy-centric fic, exploring his darkly fucked up relationship with Ed and his new and very different relationship with Lucius. Ostensibly, it's a story about pirates fucking. But in truth, I'm writing about Izzy's trauma and his release from it. If that sounds a bit heavy, don't be put off: I promise it's mostly porn.
There will be a few surprises.
Izzy *will* get his happy ending.

Summary
So, a little note. I decided to do Hornigold Week on 1st June, and it ran from 3-9th June. That means ch 1-7 were written from scratch in 9 days. From chapter 2 onwards it was same day writing and publishing! So if it feels a bit rushed and raw - it totally is. I hope you enjoy it. I'm proud of myself for writing 25k in 10 days. :)
Hornigold is played by the fucking magnificent Mads Mikkelson, because I'm rewatching Hannibal and that man has hot prof vibes all over him.

And he’s too distracted by the unfounded fondness in Armand’s great big eyes, too slow to notice the mirth dying in Alice’s face until she’s stood abruptly up and walked away from the table.
