    WARNING THIS WILL START OUT EXPLICITLY VERY UNDERAGE AND REFERENCE PAST EXTREME CHILD ABUSE
    One crisp early morning, Zelena Mills walked into her sister Regina's house and found her in bed with her sixteen year old adopted daughter Emma. After tackling her younger sister off of her niece she'd tried to do everything to get Emma taken away from Regina, and in return Emma tried to kick her ass. Much to Zelena's disbelief and outrage, Regina got away with it. Their mother came in with lawyers, Emma used her intelligence to talk circles around the cops, and in the end Regina was freed of all charges. Now, she's in LA looking for the answers and explanations she refused to hear four years ago, hoping that if she can't make peace with her sister being a monster, she can at least understand how it happened.

    Told from Regina and Emma's points of views in alternating chapters. Flashbacks will be in italics. It's about relationship duality, Regina being a bad person, and Emma refusing to admit that.

    Emma doesn't mind Christmas. But she thinks Storybrook is going a little overboard this year. Especially with the mistletoe. At least once a day, Emma finds herself in an uncomfortable position with a friend or fiend or family member beneath the mistletoe. It nearly happened twice with Leroy, which she narrowly avoided with an elbow to the gut.

    But mostly it happens with Regina.

    Naturally, Emma is suspicious.
