    In a world where Sentinels and Guides are known, all Guides must register with the government upon manifesting their abilities. When a Guide fails to do so, the government dispatches specialized Sentinels called Guidehunters to track down and capture them.

    Clint Barton manifested as a guide when he was nine years old, and he has been on the run ever since. After one too many close calls, he runs out of luck in a little town outside of Indianapolis. Although the Tower's Sentinels have tracked him down, Clint won't make things easy for them.

    This is the story of Clint becoming a member of the Avengers initiative—whether he likes it or not.

    Part 2 of Forgotten.

    Agent Barton was a target, an asset that HYDRA was especially frustrated to have lost. However, from the little snippets of information that it had heard, they were planning on how to get him back.
    The third superior's gaze was searching its face as if looking for an imperfection. It shifted uncomfortably in its shackles, unused to being the focus of attention.

    “The Winter Soldier.” He mused, “I had wondered where you were keeping it.”

    After Clint's miraculous escape from his captivity with HYDRA, he and Sam must team up to try and get Bucky out too.
    However, unbeknownst to them HYDRA has teamed up with an unlikely ally and they may be in more trouble than they realised.

    When Toni was seven, her soulmarks manifested: a red star edged in silver under her right collar bone, and a white star edged in blue under her left collar bone. Mama told her never to show them to anyone, because the Starks have enemies, and those enemies could use the soulmarks against her. She didn't see how. They were only stupid stars that didn't do anything but feel cold.

    By the time she's fifteen, she learns more about the marks, and the men they signify. Red Star wanders in and out of her life without seeming to remember her from one encounter to the next, and she's pretty sure White Star was lost decades ago. Soulmates, she decides, are useless flights of fantasy, because hers certainly aren't the supportive life partners all the stories say they're supposed to be.

    But she's a grown-ass woman now, and it doesn't really matter if she wants them or not. It really doesn't matter if she's a loose cannon, and one is with SHIELD and the other with HYDRA.

    They're hers and she's theirs.

    And she really doesn't like it when people take her stuff.
