Ling Wen sighs and shakes her head, something like frustration and melancholy in the gesture, in her eyes. “I cannot speak for either of you, but you can speak to each other. Properly, Pei Ming. Your battle strategy is terrible in this case, you know? Advance, retreat, advance, retreat. Never landing a real blow...” She trails off, heaving yet another sigh before continuing: “But he's just as bad as you. Just a tide that comes and goes, comes and goes. All that occurs is erosion.” She looks at him, then, really looks at him. “You'll wear yourselves out before you accomplish anything with each other, at this rate. You've been at this for a long, long time, Pei Ming. Don't you think it's time that the two of you were fully honest with each other?”
In which Shi Wudu speaks a truth and Pei Ming struggles to make proper sense of it.

Vox is having an identity crisis. Valentino is being ghosted. Neither of them are very happy about the situation. Fortunately, they're two very reasonable men, who can work this out like adults.
