Summary
Charlie’s hurt badly, yes, but he doesn’t hate Nick. He understands why Nick did it. Charlie’s heart just can’t really comprehend why Nick decided to put a stop on their love - a love Charlie thought would last forever - and that’s what makes it so hard to find closure and leaves him still mourning the beautiful life they’d shared.
Charlie had expected and hoped that Nick would message him, call him, maybe even come to his door and apologise for the mess and despair he had caused, but he was losing hope with every passing day. It had been months since their last encounter in Nick’s flat from where Charlie had stormed off in pure anger and immeasurable hurt.
And nothing had changed since then.
