Ajax is rudely kicked out of his daydreaming as Lumine whacks the back of her phone into his forehead from across the table.
“Ow! What was that for?”
“I can’t believe you’re asking me that. I’ve been trying to get your attention for five minutes!” Lumine huffs. “Why did you even want to meet up to study if you were just going to stare off into the distance the whole time?”
“Ah, my bad, my bad. I got distracted.” Ajax says meekly.
“Yeah, no shit. What were you even thinking about anyway?” Lumine bends her head down to take a sip of her drink.
Ajax debates if he should tell her. On the one hand, she’ll probably bully him non-stop for daydreaming about some random man he doesn’t even know the name of. But on the other hand, maybe getting all the thoughts out of his brain would help him focus on studying.
“Okay. So…there’s this guy.”
Lumine raises one perfectly manicured eyebrow. “Wow, a guy. Never seen one of those before.”

Ajax has enough to worry about - university is hectic, and he has to spend all his spare time outside of that working to support himself. So, why can't he stop thinking about the beautiful dark-haired man with the ponytail and golden eyes?

“You’ve been a pain in my ass ever since you were transferred to my garrison,” Castiel snapped, dark wings flicking as his temper flared. “What did you expect when you pulled off that stunt? A congratulations? Praise? For me to tell you that I’m proud of you?”
He expected more of Dean’s infuriating defiance, so he was shocked when the other angel ducked his head instead, freckled cheekbones tinging a delicate pink. Castiel stared as Dean looked away, bronze wings curving in tight to his back, an uncharacteristic show of vulnerability.
…Oh.
Oh.
“You do want that. You acted out for attention. For my attention.” Castiel stared at Dean with eyes that were wide with surprise, but Dean merely looked at the ground. His silence was as damning as any answer he could have given, and Castiel felt the surprise in him begin to change, morphing into something deeper and more heated. “Well,” he said darkly, “you certainly have it now.”

Sam is sick and tired of Dean and Cas being nauseatingly lovey-dovey and having sex literally everywhere. In the name of revenge, he comes up with a plot to 1) Fake date the only person who can consistently and without fail get under Dean’s skin and 2) Obnoxiously flaunt the relationship in his face every chance he gets. He pitches the plan to Gabriel (who else could be up for the task?) and between one blink and the next everything has spiraled out of control; One dinner date turns into dozens and, what the hell? They aren’t even double dates anymore, they’re just… dates.
How did this happen? More importantly, why hasn’t Sam put a stop to it? As the weeks pass, his list of Reasons Sam+Gabe Could Never Ever Not-In-This-Lifetime Ever Work grows larger and so does his unwillingness to put a stop to their prank.
It is still a prank… Right?
