“You've both been playing this gay chicken game for as long as I've known you and let me tell you it is getting old.” Amusement tinged his voice, though Hawks could still detect the underlying tone of concern in it.
Hawks would have deigned to respond, a quip or a joke to draw attention away from the topic that had been brought up, but his throat had run dry as soon as the informant’s name had been brought up. Izuku had always been sharp and observant, being the first one to pick up the very real feelings that had lined Dabi and his play flirting.
