This is not something I'd usually go for, the pairing I mean, but I am finding to like it in some situations and this one is very interesting. While the personality given to shouta is entirely new, I very much enjoy this story. I can't wait for his POV of hitting bitten 😂

Besides, as Izuku had lecture-rambled more than once, the kinds of quirks that might require an EIC activation were few and far between. It was even rarer to find one that turned to villainy instead of settling into some kind of lucrative business opportunity.
So the odds of any of them in general and Hitoshi specifically running across an EIC-worthy quirk?

Animals are treated less than humans, even though they have the capacity to feel emotions and think for themselves. They're pushed away, merely because they're not human. Nezu? Heck, he's so smart, everyone's scared of what would happen if they got on his bad side. Half the society, at the very least, still think that he's just an animal.
Midoriya? No quirk, he's ranked even lower, less than human. At least Nezu still had a quirk.
