Summary
Dean is an Alpha who swore he would never own another human being. When his brother, an Omega rights lawyer, convinces him to write an article about the local Omega auctionhouse he ends up buying an older Omega who otherwise would have been put down.
Both Dean and the Omega need to get used to their new lifes together, something that seems to be coming more natural that either of them would have thought. Through it all, they tightly hold on to each other, ready for whatever comes their way.

“Yes.” Jack is nodding, smiling, all gap-toothed and kindergarten positivity.
“And the only parts of us the Empty would see are whatever dead leaves the angels and demons left in our gutters?” Dean raises his eyebrows.
“Exactly.”
He lets out a low whistle. There’s a living warmth finally coming back into his complexion. Not done yet, Winchester, still one more rescue mission. “It’s gotta be me. I’m going.”
