The kids—” Here, he pressed his fist harder to his mouth, sucked in a wheezing breath, as if the air itself was pushing down something with physical weight. “The kids—”

    “Scattered immediately,” Aizawa finished for him, and Yagi managed a nod.

    Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm.

    Someone activated a Fear-Inducer Quirk so powerful that it reduced All Might to this— of course Aizawa’s class had bolted.

    At sixteen years old, Shigaraki Shouta is an accomplished assassin. Now his father has another task for him: infiltrate U.A. as a hero student, kill Shirakumo Oboro, and bring his body back to be turned into a nomu. It's a relatively easy task. How hard could it be to kill one student with a cloud quirk?

    Very hard, if Shirakumo and Yamada have anything to say about it.

    Torn between loyalty to his father and his longing for the path his new “friends” are pulling him down, Shouta faces his most difficult choice yet: stay a villain and condemn himself to a life of blood, or betray his family. Dancing on the edge of a knife is not without its consequences; either way, he loses, and the price may just be too high to pay.

    Mina waits until Aizawa’s well out of earshot before muttering a teasing, “Okay dad” under her breath. Kirishima’s eyes go wide. Midoriya chokes on air and the soap he’s spraying goes wide, hitting the wall as well as the stove. Kaminari freezes halfway through tiptoeing across the kitchen. They all stare at her, frightened for a moment that Aizawa heard her somehow. Then, when nothing happens after a moment, Kaminari cackles, loudly, and doubles over laughing.
