Summary
Castiel leads the seventh expedition into Hell. His expedition succeeds where all others have failed.
Excerpt:
“You understand, Castiel?” Zachariah asked him. He could tell by the upcurled lip on Zachariah’s lion face that his superior was preemptively dissatisfied with his performance. Disgusted even, by his lack of enthusiasm in the line of duty. If he were to say so, Castiel might opine that he had never been enthusiastic by nature, but he knew Zachariah would never put an inferior in the position to explain themselves. “Alert your garrison. And this is important, Castiel. Perhaps the most vital task Heaven will ever lay at your feet. You will obey, no matter the cost?”
“Of course,” he said. Zachariah’s five faces were turned toward him, their focus total. Unsure what they were looking for, Castiel did his best to straighten under the attention, the vast sunflower stalks of his form unhappily expanding their cell like structures into a respectful rigidity. “I intend to succeed.”
“Ah,” said Zachariah, a malicious shine in five of his thirteen eyes. “We’ll see about that.”
Yes, Cas thought, stinging bitterness welling up to clot the wound of his superior’s doubt. We certainly will.

Al's moved out and rent is due. Wade Wilson, with all his rotten luck, thinks he's found an easy solution. Instead he's found a fighting ring with a potentially deadly twist. Logan just wishes his new roommate wasn't such a fucking idiot.
Excerpt:
Basically, Wade Wilson was fucked. Fun fact, kids, superhero work? Not the most lucrative of careers, unless you were born with a silver spoon poking out of your asshole. Stay in film school, STEM if you’re nasty. And yes, he could always hit up Colossus or Peter for a place to stay, but he’s pretty sure you can’t request to couch surf with a plus one. And that was just Dogpool, who knew what they’d say about -
“So,” said Logan, eyes closed and bottle clutched to his chest, half passed out at the kitchen table. He’d apparently woken up in time to get the low down on the bad news. But somehow never when Dogpool needed her eardrops. Funny how that worked. “How fucked are we?”

Summary
Dean uses each of the Four Horsemen's rings to show Cas what it means to be human.
Excerpt:
Dean takes out Famine’s ring again, fiddling with it as he takes in Cas’ profile. Face half in shadow, moonlight hitting him at just the right angle for a sharp sliver of white to highlight the sharpest angles of his nose and jaw, doing a pretty swell job of making him look even more otherworldly than usual. A little gaunt too, skeletal almost. Not human, Dean tries to remind himself. Not yet, at least.
“You still hungry?” he asks, startling Cas out of his tense concentration. It’s the kind of question that could mean anything, and it’s longer than it should be before Cas figures out how he wants to answer it.
“No,” Cas lies. Dean raises an eyebrow, an invitation to come clean. “Yes, but… It’s an after effect. More a memory of hunger, than the thing itself. I’m not– It’s under control.”
“Do you wanna be?” asks Dean, lifting up Famine’s ring, so the moonlight hits it. There’s a tense moment before Cas realizes exactly what Dean is getting at, but when he does he goes absolutely still, not even pretending to breathe for a moment. “I mean, only if you wanted–”
“Alright,” says Cas.
