Dylan's family moves to beach city due to the low rent, his father bought a nice large terrain and build and even bigger house for his whole family to live, Dylan on the other hand dislikes the whole idea, being born and raised as a rich white asshole in a high income neighborhoo just like the rest of his family, its used to the privilege of great places, malls, the true capitalism that a big city can bring but his father is just doing this out of the fact they wanted to save more money and flex their riches to the poorest people instead of staying in his high sophisticated and pricey neighborhood, however all this changes as he sees what most gem's "Light forms" have to offer and how much fun he can take out of these naive stupid gems.

"So." Her voice is as silky as ever, and for a moment, June can't believe it's her voice. As though she'd missed the memo about coincidentally-perfect fascimilies of childhood best friends being out and about today, and this just can't be the Rose Lalonde.
But then her mouth curls into a smile, and there's nobody else in the world it could possibly be. Nothing short of a miracle could give anyone else a smile like that. "It looks like you've changed."
"And it looks like you haven't," June manages to joke through a tightening throat, knowing she probably looks like she's seen a ghost. There's only a second of silence before the question of who will break the distance is answered, and Rose throws her arms around June's shoulders.
