After the disappearance of Leon and Rachel Bronev, a gaggle of social workers were assigned to the Bronev household to ensure the two boys left behind were alive and well. Eventually an adoption was scheduled, and the boys were both taken in by Roland and Lucille Layton of Stansbury. Hershel would grow to be an archaeologist and detective of the Scotland Yard, and Theodore would find himself on a similarly archaeological path, albeit as a professor at Gressenheller. Summary

A young lady named Flora, after almost killing him with a fireplace poker, decides to help him with his injuries. Surely there won't be much she asks in return, right? Wrong. Now Descole has to spend the next week celebrating Christmas with Flora while Professor Layton catches up on University work. Could Descole come around to the holly jolly spirit? Or will he remain a scrooge?
