He moves an arm up to tug on a lock of his hair. It feels disgusting to touch it but he twirls it around his finger and closes his eyes. He tries to think of spring fields, soft grass beneath his aching bones, the smell of flowers in the air. He tries to think of Bad braiding his hair on a sunny spring day. The smell of blood ruins it. Or perhaps it is the sound of red stone working and the promise of more.
Or Dream grows out his hair for Bad's hairstylist urges but it just isn't the same after prison
