Reverse Robins AU. It was bad enough that Robin harboured an unfortunate crush on him and Red Hood had exactly zero (0) idea how to handle it. But no, the little menace disguised as a ray of sunshine had to up the stakes and proceed to drag the best out of him, while not shutting up about how kind and chivalrous Red Hood was.
With his villainous reputation in shambles, Red Hood was not amused. -

After that, his Bluebird was often a guest in the Outlaws’ Hideout, and Jason, holding him in his arms, dared to dream sometimes, of being called sir Todd again, maybe. Of enough coin to buy a courting gift and a good lord elsewhere who would vouch for him to the alpha of Bluebird’s household. He would indulge such wishful thinking, until inevitably yet another word of Sionis’ cruelty would come along with the cry for Red Hood’s help, and so the dreams had always remained just that.
OR: Red Hood, the infamous Outlaw, is sentenced to die. But many things can happen on the way from the dungeons to the gallows.

Jason couldn’t help but notice that Nightwing’s suit, while sinfully tight, did not reveal so much as a sliver of skin.
His eyes fell on Nightwing’s left hand. It was resting at his side, stripped of its glove.

Summary
Dick is progressive in a lot of ways, but his personal preferences as an omega tend to lean towards the traditional – the archaic, even. There's something about the courting and mateship traditions of days gone by that appeal to him as an omega in ways nothing else has. Given how outdated said traditions are, he's unsurprised - but still disappointed - at never having found a partner who will indulge him regarding them.
Then he starts dating Jason, and all of that finally changes - for the better.
This series is not abandoned! There's still more to come! 27/03/23
