Summary
Vignettes from Zuko's life dealing with his hair. That's it.
The graphic depiction section is the aftermath of the Agni Kai, so if you won't want to read about poor little burn-victim Zuko dealing with burn trauma, I've set that section apart with a row of hashes: ##### because yeaaah I got a little gross in there.
Healing from trauma as depicted by hairstyle choice! And maybe a tiny hint of Zukka there at the end, if you squint. At the very least, Zukka friendship.

Summary
Katara and Toph go to the tea shop and discover Zuko is waiting tables way earlier than in the show. Slower exploration of Zuko's life as a tea server. Also the Dai Li are terrible customers. The Gaang ends up coming to Zuko's aid, but that might make things worse.
Eventual and slight Zutara feels because I ship it like I'm a playwright for the Ember Island Players. But I also suck at anything remotely romantic so ... you have to squint to see it. And I try to be fair to all canon ships.

Everyone has to write a "how the Gaang learns about Zuko's scar" story. This is mine. Starts out in the time Zuko is at home in the palace (which I think had to be a little creepy, am I right?) and then it's all Air Temple hijinks.

Shortly after rescuing Suki from Boiling Rock, Katara introduces her to the spectacle, the magnificence, that is Zuko doing laundry with his shirt off.
Sokka has to explain to Zuko why the girls are even watching him. Zuko is remarkably slow on the uptake. Poor Sokka. -

I really, really liked it when Zuko offered himself as a prisoner to the Aang Gang and I was offended they didn't take him up on it.
The Gaang are still good guys, so this doesn't get too dark, but Zuko is good at bringing the hurt on himself all by himself. Zuko/Honor is the most abusive relationship in this fandom.
Mostly canon-compliant. Relationships that aren't cannon are ... merely flirtation. Sorry.
My earlier post "Laundry Day" is actually a part of this. You'll see when it comes in. :D
