Summary
A hunter who's part demon and the demon who's part hunter.
Most of the Saja Boys just did as they were told when the plan was formulated by that of Jinu. Sing, look pretty in the real world, dance, all for that of his majesty Gwi-Ma. Jinu only wanted the memories of his past, of his shame, gone far from him. As for Romance, he too wanted something from the king of the underworld himself. What must demons lusted after years of thinking of nothing but their shame. Sweet revenge. To find his birth mother and take her soul himself as recompense for being abandoned in the hell below.
But when Romance goes off on his own in the night to find the woman who dared abandon him, he finds that not everything is as black and white as it seemed. His birth mother is dead, has been for a while. But she left something behind in her passing that he wasn't expecting.
A little sister. A half breed like him. And on top of all that, Jinu cannot keep his eyes off her.
And soon, just like his leader, he begins questioning what he once knew. With Rumi at his side, to discover more too.

Summary
Almost.
Is a very important word. Without it, the meaning of the sentence would change completely. Maybe that is what we are all thinking. In the end, it doesn't really matter how a sentence is formed. You could pick and pull apart any arrangement, and it won't ever change the original intent. That is a truth that stays in one's own head, a truth that can’t be fixed and a truth they never want to face.
We’re almost there.
We almost made it.
Someone can always be someone else’s almost.
Just like he was almost hers….

Summary
With Gwi-Ma defeated the Saja Boys supposed their lives, their very beings, were only meant to steep in misery. However, with the new implications of Jinu’s betrayal, they now have a second chance at existence.

The gold buckles lining the boots shined under the low light in the room. - Armand was glad he didn’t need breath, Daniel would have stolen it. The elder vampire’s knees went weak. He had to lean against the doorframe.

Summary
Keeping an eye on Daniel had been harder than Armand had anticipated. He was well accustomed to following people without being noticed, even by other vampires, but he’d never realized just how much the Mind Gift had helped with it. After returning to New York, Daniel had shut himself up in his apartment to write the book - Armand had known he wasn’t going to let that go just because Louis had changed his mind, hadn’t he warned Louis about allowing such a tenacious reporter into their home? - and Armand had quickly learned there was a fine line in between close enough to hear Daniel and close enough for Daniel to sense Armand.
Or, 5 times Armand nearly gets caught being a helicopter maker, and what makes him finally decide to talk to his fledgling.
