    The local band at Port High School was on the lookout for a new singer after their previous one was expelled. They plastered posters across the campus, spreading the word about the open auditions.

    The search caught the eye of a certain redhead—Chuuya—who decided to give it a shot. At the audition, his eyes met those of the band’s guitarist: a tall, dark-eyed guy with soft brunette hair—Dazai Osamu.

    Dazai was one of the most well-known members of the band, infamous for his cold demeanor and demanding nature. Yet, to Chuuya, he was undeniably captivating.

    To everyone’s surprise, Dazai seemed completely taken by Chuuya's performance, watching him with rare intensity. It left people wondering what the redhead had done to catch the attention of someone so emotionally distant.

    After Chuuya joined the band, something felt... off. Most notably, Dazai—usually cold and aloof—was unusually kind and attentive to him.
