“I’m going to get my scars removed,” Draco announces on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
“Who are you seeing?” Blaise asks.
“The best Healer out there,” Draco replies with a little shrug. “Harry Potter.”

Summary
There was another student here.
Tom recognized him vaguely—while transfer students were not necessarily uncommon due to the war, they were rare enough to at least make an impression. This particular transfer student was in his year, sorted into Ravenclaw after an impressively long hat stall. He looked like he might be descended from the Potter line, but he did not share the surname so his lineage was of no particular interest to Tom. Nothing about him was of particular interest to Tom, in fact, and yet here he stood, holding the book that Tom had come here to find.
It would be a good time to turn away. The Restricted Section was restricted for a reason—only books documenting extremely dangerous or extremely advanced magic were stored here.
Tom’s feet, however, suddenly felt as if they were made of lead. It wasn’t magic keeping him tied down, but something far more mysterious like curiosity or even fate. In any case, the delay was all it took for the Ravenclaw to lift his chin and meet Tom’s eyes.
This Ravenclaw, Tom realized, had eyes as blindingly green as the Killing Curse.

Summary
Despite his initial impression of him, Kafka was everything Reno admired and respected in people. He was ambitious and confident, a good leader when it mattered, and incredibly intelligent when he wasn't busy pretending to be an absolute idiot. On top of that, the man was a walking, breathing ball of sunshine, and his smile made Reno feel warm. He was funny, too, and thoughtful. While he did have at least a decade on Reno, the age difference didn't bother him in the slightest. If anything, it added to his appeal. He wasn't boyish, but his face was still youthful, and in the field, his maturity and experience really shone through.
"You know, it's okay to want things, Ichikawa," Kafka said, smiling, and Reno's heart hammered in his chest. "Once you join the Defense Force, 'cause I know you'll make it in, your life won't belong to you anymore. Not really. It'll belong to the world, to everyone. So you owe it to yourself and to those around you to enjoy yourself fully while your time is still yours. I learned that lesson a little too late myself."
Reno's hands clenched under the table, fingers digging into his thighs as he fought to control his emotions.
