Ch. 6 dammit this is really good but I doubt it will ever be updated.
FULL PLOT SPOILERS BELOWFollows two timelines. When Beth was born and it awoke the daggered siblings, broke freyas sleep curse and bind to dalyia, and drew Klaus and Elijah to her. They all just met up outside the old plantation building. Klaus literally baby snatched her from behind her mothers back and ran from his siblings to kill the child but when she opened her eyes she broke his curse binding his wolf so he quickly got her to a safer place inside an old boat and transformed. In doing this she used up her magic apparently? The siblings found him as a wolf crouching over the peaceful baby with dead snakes and other stuff dead around them. He protected Beth. Kol was wolf bait to lure Klaus away so Elijah could get Beth to get her back to her mother for her next meal. Elijah found kol in a tree with Klaus scratching at it lmao that image is priceless. They have a heart to heart about not fighting harder for him to be undaggered and how they both should have done more for Finn’s return. Klaus just sits at the bottom of the tree with interest lol. Oh and Finn only knows their mother tongue rn. Now second timeline is “present day” where Beth is the sole provider for her little sister that’s like 15 I think and really smart. Beth dropped out of high school to work two jobs and support themselves. Dad drank himself to death I think or at least away from them and then the mom got a life sentence in prison for who knows what but she was mixed up in all sorts of drugs and illegal stuff. Elijah is in the process of buying one of her work places (the cafe not the bar) and is soooo flirting with her it’s cute and hot. She’s met Klaus, kol and Elijah only so far. Elijah offered her a position as manager with a salary pay that would change her life but she doesn’t want to give up her job at the bar cause she genuinely enjoys working their with her coworkers and customers. Some funny moments in the bar so far. Overall really liking how the story has been established and would love to read more

Conveniently, Klaus knows the witch so like it or not, Caroline had to come face-to-face with the hybrid she's been dying to forget but could never seems to do so.
