They start, and he can feel himself and everyone else's breath becoming ragged, as they pull as hard as possible, Natalie yelling to pull harder as they slide and slip on the ice. He can see the moose moving, but he can also hear the grunting coming from everyone else. Suddenly, he feels it everything happen in an instant, the rope going slack and the moose slipping back into the depths of the dark water. He feels everyone let go of the rope except Natalie. He watches as she's dragged closer to the edge. “ Nat, drop the rope!” He hears himself yell as she's dragged under head first, still clutching onto the rope. Flailing around like it will help her. He moves fast, grabbing her chest and dragging her up through the hole the moose left.
“It's gone, Nat, it's gone.” He whispers as her clothes soak him, her frigid skin meeting his.

Summary
He can’t tear his eyes away from Nat, she’s radiant in all aspects. The way the sun hits her just right causes her skin to glow, her body a soft silhouette, mixing together perfectly. Her hair has grown out a bit, definitely not as much as the boys', but enough for it to look fluffy with slight color at the roots. Creating a mix of unnatural blonde and dark brown, he might offer her a haircut, though he does love her long hair. How it falls, shaping and contouring her face like drapes of pure sunlight.
