Summary
It's 1980-something and the eclectic band Astarion and The Misfits has enjoyed moderate success so far. But as the band heads out on their first national tour, lead singer/songwriter Astarion is falling apart.
His traumatic past is catching up to him and it's getting harder to hide his worsening cocaine habit from his band. The only time he feels something approaching okay is when he's writing music, or around his keyboardist and best friend, Gale.
Will Astarion be able to pull himself together enough to deal with his painful past and out-of-control present before it's too late to save his future? Or is he doomed to repeat the cycle and end up as just another tragic rock and roll cautionary tale?

Summary
Gale and Astarion have both been left behind at camp for the day. Gale is perfectly fine with that. Astarion is decidedly not. Gale thinks that's why Astarion is acting strangely, but he soon finds out that he thought very wrong indeed.
