“But you know I worry,” Toshiaki says, gripping Shigeru’s arm tighter. It might bruise, but Toshiaki is probably just forgetting his own strength again. He pulls Shigeru closer, “I’m just trying to look out for you. I don’t want my little mouse getting caught up with mean cats who have bad intentions.”
It almost makes Shigeru laugh. He’s not a cat, he doesn’t say. More like a wounded puppy.
“He’s harmless,” Shigeru says.
The fingers around his arm press harder, “You don’t know that.”
“I’ll be careful,” he assures him.
“No more coming home late,” Toshiaki says, cupping Shigeru’s cheek. “You had me so scared. You didn’t even text.”
“I’m sorry. It won’t happen again,” Shigeru promises.
The hand finally loosens, and Toshiaki kisses him, “There’s my good little mouse.”

Yahaba and Kyoutani meet again after falling out of touch. Yahaba doesn't seem like himself anymore, and Kyoutani wants to make it right.
