"I'm sorry your father fucked you up so bad,” Natasha manages to push out past her broken tongue, and it’s not even rough and rude and biting like she wants. It’s just sad and true.
Tony laughs harshly, the sound reserves around her ears, vibrating in all the wrong places. "Natasha, that’s all me."
Two people with sharp edges scraping each other raw. Beautifully written. Hoping someday it'll be picked up again and there'll be more than 2 chapters.

Summary
In 2018, on Earth-199999, Thanos gathered all the Infinity Stones and snapped his fingers. Half of the Universe was promptly dusted, and a third was further killed as a direct consequence of the dusting. Weeks later, Thanos used the Infinity Stones once more and destroyed them - thus destroying the Universe itself.
Stephen Strange saw this, but there was no way to save them or the Universe, no time.
And then the Infinity Stones themselves gave him time. Gave him a second chance to save another Universe, their sister Earth: Earth-200207.
A quest that takes place across space and time, within souls and minds, with power and reality. A bet that could save trillions of people or could condemn them to a future worse than he one of Earth-199999. A game of chess against the butterfly effect, with one single starting player:

Blame, bitterness, anger, resignation. Those are feelings that permeate the air around Tony Stark and Loki Odinson. In their lowest moments, there is nothing but the crushing weight on their shoulders of what could have been.
When they both wake up in a different place, in a different time, it becomes that second chance that they desperately asked for.(Basically, the adventures of sassy man 1 and sassy god 2 as they try - and sometimes even succeed - to grow and change their futures.)

When Tony Stark wakes up after Siberia, after betrayal and blood, from what the media has already dubbed the Avengers Civil War, with Extremis running through his veins and Rhodey paralyzed and Pepper furious - he does what he knows best.
He fixes things.
He builds Rhodey braces for his legs, and tweaks Extremis to his liking, and makes a new suit - one that no vibranium shield will ever break. He ratifies the Sokovia Accords and remakes the Avengers under the U.N.
Because something big is coming, he's known it since he flew a nuke into space, and Tony isn't going to rest until the world is ready.
