Summary
Dean has been quietly pining after his neighbor Cas for years, but as a vampire, he can’t exactly make friends with mortals — let alone date them. He’s pretty much resigned himself to admiring Cas from a distance.
Everything changes the day Dean falls off a ladder during some routine home maintenance and breaks his leg. Cas is the one who finds him, and he insists on taking care of Dean after he gets home from the hospital — never mind the fact that by the time Dean’s home, his leg is all healed.
Cas, obviously, can never know.
Castiel has admired his neighbor Dean for years. Unfortunately, being a witch, it would be unwise for him to pursue a relationship with a mortal. Still, when Dean is injured in a fall, he can’t help wanting to take care of the object of his affections.
If only he could tell Dean the truth.

Summary
The last time Dean Winchester was in a Hospital it was after the car accident.
He and his dad, with Sam going between rooms to check on both, Dean has a vague memory of Sam falling asleep in the chair beside his bed. But Hospital’s aren’t good places for Winchesters, they always die in Hospitals.
But his doctor's nice, so he'll give it a shot. Just this time.
