If you were to ask Kai’s fans what type of person he is, they would tell you that the man is an angel on earth. Such an opinion is to be expected from them of course, but the truth is you would have a hard time finding anyone willing to say a bad word about Kim Jongin. Friends, acquaintances and co-workers alike praise him for being well mannered, funny, and most of all a kind soul. Jongin might be shy but he always has a nice word at the ready, be it for people he has just met or friends he has known for years. When he arrives on a set he always makes sure to greet everyone and he never leaves without thanking the whole team for their hard work.
Of course, being an idol means that Jongin is well aware of the fact that he's under constant scrutiny and that the way he interacts with people is always susceptible to becoming the next topic of choice for gossipers. Fortunately, being nice comes naturally to him; he was raised to always treat people the way he would like to be treated and to him that means with respect and kindness.
Which is exactly the reason why Jongin has been agonizing over his own behavior as of late.

Summary
The soft, confused noise he lets out makes Max hush him again, his hand coming to rest on the back of Charles’ neck. “Max,” He mumbles against his skin, and that helps, touching him like this, to be so close. The itch underneath his skin doesn’t go away, but being in Max’s arms helps. “I don’t understand, you are— you are an alpha?”
He feels Max shiver. “Yes,” He says tightly, and Charles makes another noise, high-pitched and bordering on keening. He’s never felt like this before, but he’s also never been near an alpha when he went into heat either. Has never wanted to submit before. “Fuck, Charles, you need to let me go—."
