“Yuji, I’m not asking you to come as a friend.” Megumi finally spoke, a tinge of anxiety sweeping over his words. “I’m asking you to come as my pretend romantic partner as a front to my parents.”
“L-l-like as a boyfriend?” Yuji asked, dumbly.
“That would be another synonym for romantic partner, yes.” Megumi replied dryly.
Yuji stilled, but only for a moment. Because he knew Megumi would see any hesitation as a sign of doubt or discomfort. In that small moment, those few quiet seconds, his mind raced. It raced with images of their shared winter break, of their shared glances across the family table, of shared warmth from their interlaced hands, of shared kisses between conversations–
“Yes,” The brunet breathed, “I’ll go.”

Dabi looks at Hawks batting his lashes, sitting on the couch in his hideous Gucci sweater. Christ, Dabi can’t stop looking at it. It’s a point of public safety that Hawks has a stylist for when he actually needs to leave the house. That sweater could cause car crashes. “I guarantee that won’t be an issue.”
Hawks needs to come out, Dabi needs to promote his debut album, and they make an awful mess of this fake relationship thing.

Fushiguro Megumi is a top student at the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo. Itadori Yuuji is also enrolled. Technically.
They've been rivals since first year. Allegedly. As far as Megumi’s concerned, anyway. Itadori seems blissfully unaware of this, which somehow makes it worse. Now they’ve both tanked their moot, their partners hate them, and they’re being forced to work together for the resit.
Failure isn't an option. Unfortunately, neither is avoiding Itadori. Falling for him was never in the agreement. But somewhere along the way, the terms changed.
