Summary
Masuyo cuts off the steam she’s been letting out this entire time, and pushes the little chakra she has left into her legs, forcing herself through the trees. She’s dehydrated and hungry and cutting off the steady flow of Kokuō’s chakra that she’s gotten so used to leaves her reeling, but she’s almost there so she pushes chakra into her legs for one last leap, and she crashes through the bushes, landing face-first in the dirt.
She was expecting sweet silence save for the chirping birds, ready to fall into sweet fleeting sleep, or possibly a coma. She was not expecting to hear loud, high-pitched screams, and then an exclamation of, “S-sensei! A dead person–! A dead person just fell from the sky!”
Ah, Masuyo thinks rather absently, looks like this grove is taken. My bad.
Or: After narrowly escaping certain death, Masuyo crashes straight into four ninja from the Hidden Leaf. Exhausted and injured, she has to try and get herself out of this unfortunate situation. And really, it would be a lot easier if she could stop getting distracted by this extremely attractive man.
