Two strangers meet each other at a bar, neither wanting to be alone after just coming from a funeral. Luke will never get the image of his best friend being tortured out of his mind. Phil died too young, and the Crimson King being stuck in jail for life, doesn’t feel like enough of a price to be paid. So after the funeral he tries to drown the thoughts of pain and revenge with tequila and this beautiful man, with pretty Bambi-esque eyes and sad smile. Yeah, that looks like the perfect distraction.
Spencer Reid should’ve known his mom was planning on killing herself, she was so calm and cohesive about everything happening to her. After 15 years in the same place, and her attempts when she first moved in facility in Vegas. New places and schizophrenia just don’t mix. And now they both payed the price for it. He has two choices: the healthy one, going to Dereks place and having a good heart to heart, talking about what happened. Or the unhealthy one, going to a bar and calling his old friend. Five years sober. Five years and he’s going to throw it away. He needs a hit. Fuck maybe he shouldn’t go that far. Maybe he just needs a drink.
