Kara Danvers always wanted to be a writer, but was forced to give up that dream when she married James Olsen and was forced to drop out of school and become his version of the ideal housewife.
From the outside, their marriage looked perfect. They'd met and fallen in love and gotten married in such a short amount of time, and everyone thought they were so manly in love. But they getting married so quickly didn't give them very long to TRULY get to know each other, and Kara is forced to live with the consequences.

Thanks to her article, it got Lillian and Lex Luthor thrown into jail. Unfortunately, Lena Luthor walks away scot-free as there wasn’t enough evidence to implicate that she was part of their heinous investment scam, despite Kara believing otherwise. That's why it comes as a shock when Kara finds out who her new neighbor is. Out of all the apartment buildings in National City, why must she move into the same one as hers?

When she starts seeing a golden retriever puppy napping in her neighbor's window, however, it would only be polite to go and offer her assistance, right?
