    Except that working for the local FBI office actually is the depressing combination of boring paperwork and soul crushing despair that Mr. McCall always complained about when he was drunk.
    And Scott McCall, his so-called best friend, hasn't spoken to him in months. And Stiles' long-distance girlfriend Lydia's dumped him for a Nobel Prize winner. And all his light bulbs keep exploding.
    And now some guy with menacing stubble and a knit beanie is stalking him relentlessly through New York's finest public transit.
    At least no one will miss Stiles when he gets murdered in a dark alley.
