De entre todas las visitas que realizó a la iglesia del Santo Niño Jesús en aquel pueblo moribundo a orillas de Coahuila, Vásquez tiene muy presente en las remembranzas de su vida una predicación que escuchó un domingo santo. Se convirtió en una de sus favoritas: la travesía de Mateo y su camino hacia la redención. Tal vez por eso Vásquez adoraba escuchar el relato cada tantos domingos; Porque como Mateo, Vásquez es un pecador. Quizás por eso vino en primera instancia a este lugar en busca de un consejo de Jack Horne, el mayor de los siete magníficos y el más cercano a la palabra de Dios; en búsqueda de la respuesta de su incertidumbre religiosa y cierto sentir hacia un irlandés en particular.

Oh Man...
I'm definitely dehydrated. God!
There is this fanfic that I read in my youth, I remember how back then the superwholock phenomenon was at its highest and I read A LOT of fics. The one I'm talking about was a Johnlock titled "Alone on the water"...
I haven't touched THAT fic since then because of the WRECK I was after reading it.Let me tell you. THIS ONE, it felt exactly the same. I was weeping, crying, I felt like there was a whole in my stomach, couldn't breathe normally. I was holdin onto hope and desperation with nails and teeth until I couldn't anymore. Just like back then. It made a complete mess out of me.
So congrats. It was beautiful and absolutely horrendous at the same time, which only adds to the masterpiece that has been created. I loved it as much as I loathed the whole thing and now I'll always remember this fic with bittersweetness, just like that one Johnlock fic that marked a before and after in me.
