Virgil landed on ZH-8, a planet that is basically space Bermuda triangle, to find his lost friend. But when he witnesses a creathen almost die falling off a cliff… His plans change. And maybe being a deathworlder doesn't help to build trust, and maybe he overdid it on the safety measures. If only he could get words out, rescuing the crew would be so much easier!
Or: Why the crew of a crashed ship doesn't trust the strangely non-violent deathworlder.

Tommy is rough. All foul-mouthed and embodiment of bad manners. He is every synonym of annoying. He repels their fond stares with glares and when they ruffle his hair, he slaps their hands away. He shies away from their gentleness.
But when Wilbur hums an old lullaby from their childhood—It's not easy for Tommy to keep his guard up.
