The world is divided into two factions- the Shapeshifters and Humans. It is the result of long wars witnessed by time and involves some of the darkest periods of history. Both factions only have business alliances with each other and it is forbidden for personal relations to occur. Trust has never been there really so the peace is but held together with a thin rope.
