Eddie is fed up with these Hollywood types turning up and feigning interest in the job that he loves. Buck, however, is nothing like that and everyone can see the connection they have.

Summary
Chip hit the ground hard, knocking the air from his chest. He eased himself up after a moment to glare at the guards’ retreating backs. “Ma’am, yes ma’am.” His words seemed stifled in the still air, barely more than a pathetic squeak.
Assessing his new accommodations, Chip tried to get to his feet, but his head swam, and he tumbled back down, one hand pressed against his forehead.
His head felt like it was stuffed with cotton, his vision slightly blurred. They’d caught him off-guard, because why would he expect Navy interference while disguised? The whole thing had happened far too fast; Chip hadn’t even seen the butt of the rifle before it slammed into his temple. After that, things went fuzzy. Pain laced through his side where armored fists had connected with his bruised ribs. He remembered a hood over his head, the fabric thick and stifling. Beyond that, his mind blanked.
“Fuck.”

Summary
The stranger looks human at first, if not by his pale skin and tousled brown hair, then the sheer disorientation on his face as he looks around. He spins slowly, as if trying to take in every little feature of the main path. Only then are the wings pressed tightly against his back apparent. The feathers are bright, reds yellows and blues, and more well kept than the small and downy wings of Quackity, or the charred and tattered wings of Phil. He clearly isn’t from around here. For as sirens pierce the usual quiet of the SMP; the look on his face is not a revelation of someone who knows their significance. It's the confusion of someone who has found himself very suddenly out of his element.
Or a fic following an unfortunate plunge into the Boatem hole which leaves Grian far from the only home he knows; the deal he takes to free himself, and his subsequent attempts to both make his way back, and leave the place he finds himself in better than when he found it.

Summary
Tommy can see the exact moment Dream recognises the symbol as he freezes, his grip loosening on Tommy enough to let him fall to his knees on the forest floor.
"Tommy," Dream starts slowly, almost fearfully. "What the fuck have you done? Do you know what you could've brought here? Do you even understand what this means?"
