Summary
Karkat and Slick have a good thing going. Karkat adopted Slick a handful of years ago, Slick has good enough grades, he gained a good number of friends (and a good number of enemies that Karkat calls Slick's friends (which they AREN'T Karkat, stop calling PS his FRIEND)), they've gotten into a good rhythm. Life is good for the two. Better than good actually, it's perfect in every way.
That is to say, it was perfect until Karkat met HIM and started dating HIM, and RUINED Slick's LIFE by INVADING IT and STOMPING ALL OVER IT WITH HIS DUMB RED CONVERSE.
At least Dave's son is cool.

Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist and a one man army, is at the Lambda Complex, silently stepping through portals as he tries to work his way through this precarious room. After emerging from a portal, he finds himself amongst the company of misfit scientists (and a guard) claiming that they know him in ways that make Freeman's head spin. And they keep clamoring on how his hand shouldn't be normal?
Gordon Freeman, a man much too tired to be anything more than upset, is at the Lambda Complex, desperately hopping through portals, trying to find the one that leads him away from the Science Team. After emerging from a portal, he finds himself utterly alone in a room too silent for its own good. Gordon's pretty sure that this is just some dumb prank that Benrey's leading to try and scare him. He's sure of it. Kinda sure.
