It wasn't a bad kind of melancholy. Eddie thinks that this silent period is needed for a more beautiful rebirth, as dramatic as it sounds. But standing here, with this lost boy who hasn't quite noticed him yet, Eddie can't help but think he looks like something the season forgot to hide away. Like a stray piece of spring was left behind in all this quiet decay.

Summary
It's the late 90s. Stede, a senior in high school, takes a job at a local fast food franchise to earn some cash, hoping to make it out without his father's help. His trainer at work, Ed, wants to escape too. Maybe together they can get somewhere. Anywhere is better.
They'll get out, sure. But they have a whole lot to learn.
Childhood friends to lovers who don't talk about it to strangers to lovers, basically. Some angst, but hopefully balanced.

Summary
After thirty years of being separated, of Edward holding a grudge, his resolve has begun to crack. Receiving a beautiful gift for his birthday from Steve, soft encouragement from Robin, and having an eye-opening conversation with Dustin, Eddie decides to give things with vampire lord, Stephen, of the Harrington Manor another go. He hates how quickly he can feel Steve making his way through the chinks of Eddie’s weak armor.
They both have hope of healing together and building something better than before but hope only lasts so long before something comes to snuff it out. Figures that Eddie has to learn the hard way. Again.

Summary
