Summary
The Doctor and Donna find themselves on a beautiful planet not too different from Earth. However, if you haven't experienced true telepathic connection in a couple centuries, dropping yourself in the middle of a cityful of very powerful telepaths isn't the brightest idea. In the Doctor's defense, he hadn't known that when he landed there. Now, they're back in the TARDIS, and the Doctor has to deal with the fact that his mind is more or less burning.

Six mois après les évènements du premier tome, malgré le succès de l'enquête et la fin des Families, les conséquences de l'affaire ne sont pas retombées. Une atmosphère de paranoïa règne dans le commissariat, et lorsqu'un meurtre très embarrassant pour Franck a lieu, il doit prendre l'enquête en main, afin de s'assurer que sa position ne soit pas divulguée au grand jour.
