Summary
When a down-on-her-luck young marine becomes the target of some very dangerous rocks on a trip to Alaska, unlikely help comes from the ever present Jethro Gibbs. When a bad storm leaves no option for departure from the cabin, Gibbs gets a little more then he bargains for, in the form of another found daughter. Pasts are laid bare, pain is shared, and more then one of them is pushed to reveal truths about what they truly want.
What will clara do when the man she comes to know as a father is too heartbroken to open his eyes.
What will Gibbs do when pushed to the limits of his own rules."Whats rule 101?" Clara asks quietly, tears threatening to fall.
Gibbs freezes in his step "I...it's 'Never truly gone till she's mad and gone'...corny I know" he gives a little chuckle, tears of his own threatening to fall.
