They were in a bad, bad spot for an earthquake. A landslip could easily conceal the entrance to the dungeon. Hell, he wasn’t even sure if this cavernous area could withstand an earthquake.
A few more seconds went by. Legend and Wild remained frozen, listening.
The rumbling continued, like a growl, like a grindstone at work.
“We should go.” Wild whispered. His voice echoed and drowned at the same time. The room felt like the inside of a drum.
Legend felt a chill. Not for the first time, he wondered if this dungeon would be his tomb. -

Summary
Wild never enjoyed large gatherings, but it only got worse after his quest.
The Hyrule that he remembered clearly didn’t have very many people. At least, not in comparison to the versions of Hyrule he had seen in his time with the chain. The largest town, Hateno, occasionally felt a bit crowded but even then Wild never felt the way that he felt right now.

Because as odd as it is to see little Sidon now tower over Urbosa, nothing can compare to the weirdness Link feels when he looks at Wild; the stranger who looks like him but wrong.
A.K.A. Mid-quest, Wild ends up in Age of Calamity. No one is happy about this.
